For think tank Our New Economy, Rethinker Femke works on lesson packages for high school economics, published by Economieles.nu. The lesson packages are additional teaching materials that teachers can use for extending the standard curriculum, in case they find that it lacks in societal relevance and critical thinking. There are eleven lessons on varying topics, from the basic question ‘What is the economy?’, to ‘Ecological economics’ or ‘Inclusive economy’.

We are looking for creative ways to spread the lesson packages among economics teachers, and perhaps their own former students could be the best people to activate a teacher for broader teaching about the economy.
