Dr. Charan van Krevel

Charan is Lecturer in Macroeconomics and International Economics at the University of Amsterdam. He teaches various courses in those topics and in environmental economics and sustainability. Charan has been teaching economics since 2014, always with great enthusiasm. He obtained my PhD from Radboud University from 2017 to 2024, while also being a lecturer. He is very driven to create a fun, open, curiosity-driven experience inside and outside the classroom. Particularly, I aim to foster critical thinking, especially when it comes to teaching materials and teachers (especially myself).
