Who We Are
Our local group is formed by students and researchers from all around the city and hopefully soon you as well!
Currently, we focus on increasing the pluralism in economics teaching at the University of Amsterdam, the Vrije Universiteit and the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. And to do so, we are working on reports on the economics curricula of the institutions and advocate for more heterodox approaches through our activities.

Upcoming events
In 2020-2021 we are did a lecture series on "Rethinking the Core of Economics". In this lecture series from October to January, we asked several distinguished professors to give an overview of strands of economic thought that you probably would not hear much about in uni.
Furthermore, we are starting our research on the economics curricula of the VU, UvA and HvA and want to establish closer ties with the institutions to push for more pluralism. We still need some help in compiling the report!
Most of all, we are interested in your ideas for new activities! Be it a new video or lecture series, a podcast or research project, we want to facilitate your ideas about Rethinking economics as much as possible. So get in contact!
