In collaboration with Utrecht university school of economics, we are proud to present an upcoming conference discussing the state of contemporary economics education!
The discussion will explore how to better align the education of economics with the real world as well as highlight the advantages of a more diversified study programme. The conference offers insights from notable speakers: - David Colander - Professor of Economics at Middlebury College - Zohreh Emami - Professor of Economics in the School of Business at Alverno College - Bas van Bavel - Economic Historian and Professor at Utrecht University School of Economics - Hendrik van den Berg - Professor of Economics at the University of Nebraska As well as a talk from Rethinking economics NL regarding economics bachelor education in the Netherlands! The conference will be held June 7, from 13.00 to 17.00, in the Utrecht university campus Auditorium. With the opportunity for drinks afterwards.
